Cups and Special Prizes

1. Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the In Hand Arab Champion

2. Judal Arabians Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the Ridden Arab Champion

3. A Perpetual Cup, the W. J. Dennis Memorial Cup, will be awarded to the Best Hunter or Ridden Hunter.

4. A Perpetual Cup, The Ken Hablutzel Memorial Cup, will be awarded to the Best Lead Rein Pony.

5. A Perpetual Cup, kindly donated by Mrs. Greer, will be awarded to the winner of class 24

6. The Mowbray Stud Perpetual Trophy for the Best Welsh A,B,C, or D Pony.

7. The Mowbray Stud Championship Perpetual Trophy awarded to the best pony in the Mountain, Moorland section - classes 26-32.

8. A Perpetual Cup, the A. Broadwith Memorial Cup, will be awarded to the Best Pony in classes 33-36.

9. A Perpetual Cup, The Agricultural & Industrial Hydraulics Cup, will be awarded to the Best Nursery Stakes Pony.

10. A Perpetual Shield to be held for one year will be presented to the person showing the Best Working Pony in the Show (not including Nursery Stakes).

11. R. Kirby Perpetual Cup for overall Best Fancy Dress in Classes 45 & 46

12. A Perpetual Trophy present by The Killicks (Woundales) for the best local exhibit in class 45

13. The Barker Crosby Memorial Cup for the best home bred Jersey. Cup to be held for one year.

14. The Harry Almond Memorial Cup for the Champion Jersey, Cup to be held for one year

15. A Perpetual Cup to be held for one year will be presented to the person showing the Best Dairy Animal, excluding Jerseys. This Cup has been presented by David Hoult Esq.

16. A Perpetual Cup given by Ben Carter for Best Beef Animal.

17. The BOCM Tankard will be awarded to the Best Animal in Classes 56-57.

18. A Perpetual Cup to be held for one year will be presented to the exhibitor gaining the most points in the Cattle Section. Points to be awarded as follows: 1st: 3 pts. 2nd: 2 pts. 3rd: 1 pt. This Cup has been re-presented by S. Fairburn Esq.

19. A Perpetual Cup given by Nitrovit Ltd., for The Champion Sheep in the Sheep Classes.

20. Perpetual Trophy given by L. E. & I. Cowton for the most points in the Sheep Section excluding Classes 69, 70, 71, 77 and 78.

21. A Perpetual Cup given by J. Wilkin, Esq., will be awarded by the person gaining the most points in classes 58-79 who resides within 4 miles of Borrowby. Points awarded 1st: 3 pts. 2nd: 2 pts. 3rd: 1 pt.

22. The Jameson Trophy for the winner of the Pet Lamb class, cup to be held for one year

23. A Perpetual Cup given by Kenneth Wilson (Corn Merchants) Leeds, for the highest points in Wheat, Oats and Barley Classes. Points awarded as follows: 1st: 3 pts. 2nd: 2 pts. 3rd: 1 pt.

24. The Jean Wikeley Perpetual Trophy will be present to the person gaining the most points in classes 96 - 112

25. HSBC Trophy awarded to the indivudal gaining the most points in classes 124 - 132. Points awarded as follows: 1st: 3 points, 2nd: 2 points, 3rd: 1 point

26. A Perpetual Cup given by Mrs. H. Corner for the most points in the Flower Arrangement Section.

27. A Perpetual Cup given in memory of Mrs. E. Hogg for the Best Exhibit in the Flower Section excluding flower arrangements.

28. Frank Hardie Memorial Cup to be held for one year will be presented to the person residing in Borrowby who gains the most points in classes, 154, 155, 156, 157 and 163. Points awarded as follows: 1st: 3 pts. 2nd: 2 pts. 3rd: 1 pt.

29. A Perpetual Cup given by O. Grainger will be awarded to the person gaining most points in classes 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 153, 159, 161, 164, 169 and 171. Points awarded as follows: 1st: 3 pts. 2nd: 2 pts. 3rd: 1 pt.

30. A Perpetual Cup to be held for one year will be presented to the person gaining the most points in classes 143 -172. Points to be awarded as follows: 1st: 3 pts. 2nd: 2 pts. 3rd: 1 pt.

31. A Perpetual Cup given by H. J. Wishart, Esq., of Carlton Miniott will be presented to the person gaining the most points in the following classes: 175-193. Points awarded as follows: 1st: 3 pts. 2nd: 2 pts. 3rd: 1 pt.

32. A Perpetual Cup given by J. G. Titmus for class 175, Best Tray of 6 distinct vegetables.

33. The Mrs. W. J. Dennis Perpetual Cup re-presented by Mrs. D. Dennis to be held for one year will be presented to the exhibitor from Borrowby W.I. gaining the most points in classes 203-210.

34. A Perpetual Cup given by the late Mrs. H. Barnett will be presented to the person gaining the most points in classes 205-209 inclusive. Points awarded as follows: 1st: 3 pts. 2nd: 2 pts. 3rd: 1 pt.

35. The Coverdale Perpetual Cup for the best entry exhibit in classes 223 - 224

36. A Perpetual Cup given by T.I.R. (E. Hackett) will be awarded to the best entry in classes 217-229

37. A Silver Cup to be held for one year will be presented to the child showing the best exhibit. Age to be taken into consideration.

38. The Perpetual Cup for Art (12-16 year olds) for the best exhibit in class 245, presented by Mrs Carol Russell

39. The Claire Cook Memorial Cup for the Best overall exhibit in Classes 261 - 265 to be held for one year

40. Calyptus Trophy presented to the Show by Mr. & Mrs. R. Lumley for the winner of the Junior Intermediate Open Jumping Cup to be held for one year.

41. Ruth Peacock Memorial Trophy for the winner of BSJA Senior Foxhunter, cup to be held for one year

42. W Robinson Memorial Trophy for most points in the Lead Rein Gymkhana, cup to be held for one year
